Micah was amazing! Despite the terrible weather, that didn’t change his attitude or fun ideas for capturing the day! He was very accommodating and gave us everything we asked for and more. Showed us good breakfast and lunch spots. I mentioned I really wanted to capture horses in photos if possible, and in the downpour of rain he offered to pull over any chance he saw horses on the side of the road. We had great experience and made the best of the day all thanks to Micah!

Luke was an absolutely incredible guide, and our seven-day trip through Iceland was truly one of the best trips I’ve ever had in my life. From the very beginning, Luke took all of the planning and stress completely off our shoulders. The entire experience was fully customized around us, and every single day felt like its own vacation. We never felt rushed, overwhelmed, or like we were simply following a standard tourist itinerary. What made the trip especially unforgettable was Luke’s knowledge of Iceland. He took us to magnificent, hidden places away from the crowds—places we never would have discovered on our own. Every day brought something completely different and spectacular. It felt like we were experiencing a side of Iceland that very few visitors get to see. Luke was also incredibly accommodating and thoughtful throughout the entire trip. We had some special arrangements with our accommodations, and he went above and beyond to make everything work for our family, including helping with transportation when my mom needed to stay at a different hotel. Nothing ever felt like an inconvenience to him. He simply found a solution and made sure everyone was comfortable. Beyond being an outstanding guide, Luke is just a genuinely wonderful person to spend time with. He was pleasant, patient, flexible, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to be around—which matters so much when you are traveling together for seven days. This was not just a guided tour. It felt like a completely personalized Icelandic adventure where we could simply relax, enjoy our family, and experience the country while Luke took care of everything else. Seven days, and every single day felt like a vacation of its own. I cannot recommend Luke highly enough. If you want to experience Iceland beyond the typical tourist destinations and have someone create a truly customized, stress-free, unforgettable trip for you, Luke is the person to do it. Thank you, Luke, for giving us memories we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. We would absolutely travel with you again!

the best experience ever — It was our first time in Iceland, and we spent an entire week in the company of Luke. It’s hard to imagine a better guide than him. We were able to completely relax and entrust all the logistics, driving, parking, and choosing the most delicious and authentic dinner spots to Luke, while we simply enjoyed the beauty and uniqueness of this country. He knew exactly how to avoid the tourist crowds at the most popular locations and also showed us places that few people know about. Luke also took plenty of beautiful photos and videos for us. He pays great attention to every detail, and we felt comfortable, safe, and constantly engaged in his company. Luke has a great sense for the needs and preferences of everyone in the group, making the experience in Iceland feel truly personalized. We are sincerely grateful for this experience and hope to repeat it someday!

We just got back from Iceland, and I can't say enough good things about our experience with Luke. From day one, he felt more like a friend traveling with us than a guide. Luke is kind, funny, easy to be around, and genuinely cares about making sure you have an amazing experience. He went out of his way to create opportunities and memories that never would have happened if we had been traveling on our own. Some of our favorite moments were the places he took us that weren't packed with tourists (secret hikes and waterfalls) —just incredible scenery and experiences that felt authentic and special. This trip was a birthday celebration for me, and Luke made it one I'll never forget (champagne celebration at the Diamond Beach!). He thought of details we never would have considered, kept everything stress-free, and somehow always seemed to know the perfect place to stop or the perfect thing to do next. Iceland is an amazing country, but Luke is what made this trip truly special. Five stars all around.

Luke was seriously the best guide we could have asked for! He was knowledgeable, funny, easygoing, and somehow always knew where we should go next. One of our favorite things was when Luke would take us somewhere totally off the beaten path—especially when we’d realize we were the only people there. Every time, we’d yell “SECRET SPOT!” (the name of his tour company) and it became a running joke throughout the trip. 😂 Those hidden spots ended up being some of our favorite memories. He also went above and beyond to make our friend’s 40th birthday trip extra special and created so many experiences we never would have found on our own. We had an amazing week and honestly can’t imagine having done Iceland with anyone else! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The whole process with Secret Spots of Iceland from the beginning to the end could not have been done better. Luke and Fifi were very responsive with their replies to my questions about planning our trip. Luke provided great advice on what camera equipment I should bring. On the two days of the tour Luke arrived early and was well prepared for the day. We had a great time with our conversations with Luke and genuinely enjoyed being with him. During the day we never felt rushed which was well appreciated as I like to examine details of places we visit for unique photos. Luke is a wealth of knowledge about the history of Iceland. A big benefit with going with Secret Spots of Iceland is the special parking spots provided for tour operators so getting a parking spot was not a problem as it was for the general population. We enjoyed every place we visited and were able to capture some very memorable photos. When we go back we want to do it with Secret Spots of Iceland. I mentioned at the start I have some walking difficulties with un even surfaces and Luke watched over me to make sure I was stable and safe. That was very much appreciated. We recommend Secret Spots of Iceland even if you are just a cell phone photographer. You are in for a great time. Where did we go? First off, a massive shoutout to Fifi, our planning wizard. Fifi made organizing this last minute trip so effortlessly smooth that I kept waiting for the catch. (Spoiler: There wasn’t one). Now, let’s talk about the Icelandic weather. It gave us the full experience, freezing cold and raining sideways for a good chunk of the time. But we barely noticed because our guides/photographers, Micah and Luke made everything seamless. Matching our family’s vibe is no easy task, we are a highly specific cocktail of "let's zipline over a canyon" and "please let me nap in the van". Their energy perfectly matched ours: beautifully chill when we needed to thaw out, and completely adventurous when it was time to brave the elements. They managed to guide us safely through otherworldly landscapes, kept morale high, and simultaneously captured pictures we'll be flexing for a long time. Thank you Luke and team for an unforgettable adventure!
